DRX 1 System Detector

It is a cassette type wireless DR system that has converted analog x-ray equipment to DR systems. It provides a quick, easy and affordable way to obtain radiography images. It also enables wireless transfer of image data.

We provide these facilities and services:

Brain SPECT

Brain SPECT allows doctors to analyze the function of internal organs in your body. The main purpose of this test is to diagnose disorders such as neural degenerative diseases, stroke, seizure, heart problems, bone disorders and to evaluate memory loss. It uses gamma rays to deliver images that display how your organs work. We have highly experienced staff and technologist to perform these tests and all the tests are performed under the supervision of our experts.

  • HMPAO It is a nuclear imaging procedure that helps to diagnose and differentiate the different causal pathologies of neurological disorders. It is used with a 3-camera scanner to produce 5 sets of sectional images of the brain.
  • GHA / MIBI These are the nuclear tests for detection of the tumors in the brain through imaging.

Stress Myocardial Perfusion Study (Popularly known as Thallium Scan) – This is a type of nuclear medicine procedure that is used to evaluate the hearts function and blood flow. It uses a radioactive substance, called radionuclide as a tracer to measure the blood flow to the heart muscle.

Lung Ventilation / Perfusion Scan – This test helps doctors to check blood flow and airflow in a patient’s lungs. In this test, a radioactive dye is injected into a patient’s vein that help doctors to identify blood clot or an abnormal flow of blood in a patient’s lungs.

Testicular scan- A testicular scan is also known as scrotal ultrasound that is used to produce images of the testicles and scrotum. This test helps doctors to check scrotal abnormalities such as masses or pain, testicular torsion, fluid accumulation, undescended testicle, and abnormal blood vessels.

Renal Scan- It is a diagnostic procedure in which a little amount of radioactive material, called radioisotope is used to diagnose the problems related to the kidney. The radioactive material releases gamma rays, which are detected by the gamma camera or scanner from outside the body.

Thyroid scan – It is a diagnostic procedure of nuclear medicine in which radioactive iodine tracer is used to check the thyroid for abnormalities like cysts, nodules, and tumors.

Parathyroid scan- It is a type of nuclear medicine procedure that helps to identify the abnormalities related to the parathyroid gland like Hyperparathyroidism, Tumors etc.

Hepatobiliary scan- Hepatobiliary imaging is a test procedure that is used to diagnose problems in the liver, bile ducts and gallbladder. Before the exam, a small amount of radioactive chemical is given to the patient. In this test, special cameras are used to produce images which are examined by radiologists.
